It is an ancient system of aesthetics which make use of both the laws the heaven and the earth to make a positive impact in the life of people. The term Feng-shui literally means “wind and water”. It is often used in spiritual buildings like temples, tombs and also used to improve the positivity of the dwelling structure in auspicious manner. Feng shui is believed to encourage the circulation of propitious flow of wind and water into the building placed. It promises good luck and positive vibes if placed and used correctly. In the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, Chinese suppressed the use of Feng Shui, but ever since that its popularity is on all time high in the western world especially in United States of America. It finds correlation between humans and universe. Earlier when the magnetic compass was not invented, it was strongly based on the astronomical prediction which proved correct in those times. The formula of Feng Shui not only predicted the auspicious, which means correct time to build the building considering every factor in mind but also directed the proper direction of the building to be built. |
