The atmosphere on the Moon
For all practical purposes, the moon has no atmosphere. As is known, the atmosphere scatters light, and it does not exist on the moon, and shadows almost black, in a shade to consider anything impossible. Probably gas leak at times from the depths of the moon's surface, but the atmosphere is much thinner than Earth's, which extends up to hundreds of miles.
· Attractive force and the rate of removal
On the Moon gravity is known to be six times weaker than on Earth. This means that the rate of release of gases and the rate of the spacecraft, leaving the moon is much smaller than in terrestrial conditions. One of the reasons that there is no atmosphere on the moon - is that there is the required speed for entrainment of gas molecules in the cosmos is very small, so the few gas molecules that are called from its surface, it is easy to overcome its gravitational field. On Earth the speed required for ablation is quite large, and only accidental gas particles, running at high speed and in the right direction, away from the planet. We gather in reality more than we lose. The speed with which the spacecraft leaves the Moon is 1.5 miles per second.
