Judaism was born about 4000 years ago. Judaism is a one of the oldest monotheistic religion known to people, which means that Jewish people pray to only one god. Judaism is the "religion, philosophy, and way of life" of the Jewish people. Judaism, originating in the Hebrew Bible (also known as the Tanakh) and explored in later texts such as the Talmud, is considered by Jews to be the expression of the covenantal relationship God developed with the Children of Israel. According to traditional Rabbinic Judaism, God revealed his laws and commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai in the form of both the Writtenand Oral Torah. This was historically challenged by the Karaites who maintain that only the Written Torah was revealed, and, in modern times, liberal movements such as Humanistic Judaism may be nontheistic.
The Hebrews / Israelites were called (referred to) as Jews, already, as early as in the Book of Esther. The term Jews replaced the title "Children of Israel.". Jewish people’s life hasn’t been easy in that time. The Jewish people have lived from the slavery in Egypt to the Holocaust in Europe, their life filled with situation. Jewish belief that he made an (Bible) agreement between God and his people in which God makes certain promises and requires certain behaviour from them in return that he would be the father of a great nation. That nation became the Jewish people. Moses was one of the most famous Jewish authoritative people who divine the future. He led the Jewish people out of slavery, led them to Mount Sinai and received the Ten Commandments (The biblical commandments of Moses); even today still follow a set of rules by that people’s.
Jewish people have face and withstand with courage many hardships in their history but they have Continue to live through hardship or adversity and made lives in places in Israel and other countries. Jewish people's take parts in many areas such as the literature, entertainment, arts, education and science also in medicine, because they hardly beliefs in the importance of education. Even though they have always had to face struggle from other people and other countries or governments, and always managed to unite them and persevere, scorn the fact that even now there are so many problems going on in the Middle East. They have developed a strong sense of character that has kept them alive for thousands of years. |
